Ramadan Mubaraak to You and Your Family

Alhamdulillah, it's Ramadan.
We need to increase more our eeman and ibadaah everyday in this Ramadan.
Please teach our kids to fast and to increase more their knowledge about our religion.
You can bring them to masjid to do taraweeh.

  • The Month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed, a guidance for mankind, [containing] clear proofs of guidance, and the criterion of distinguishing right from wrong. (Al-Qur’an 2:185 )

  • There are two joys for those who fast.
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) it is reported that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
"Allah(swt) says: The Fast is for Me and I will give the reward for it, as he (the one who observes the fast) leaves his sexual desire, food and drink for My Sake. Fasting is like a shield (from sins and the hellfire), and he who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he will meet his Lord (on the day of judgement). And the smell emanating from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the Sight of Allah than even the smell of musk.'"
    [Bukhari and Muslim]

  • If you are fasting but not praying the obligatory, then you have to fix your eeman. We have to remember that sholat is the thing Allah will ask us in the Day of Judgement.
Please keep doing in time your 5 times obligatory sholat in a day.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) it is related that he once heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) say,
"What would you think if there were a river running by the door of the house of anyone of you, and he bathed in it 5 times a day, everyday, would any trace of dirt be left on him?" The people said: "No, there would be no trace of dirt on him." The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: "This is like the 5 daily prayers, through which Allah cleanses you and washes away your past sins"
    [Bukhari and Muslim]

  • Please do not forget to make dua before break your fas, because Allah will accpet the Du'a at the time of Iftar.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) it is related that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
    "There are three people whose `Du'a' is not rejected;
    - the fasting person until he breaks the fast,
    - the just ruler,
    - and the oppressed person,
whose Duaa Allah lifts above the clouds and opens unto it the doors of Jannah, and Allah says: "I swear by My Honour, verily I shall assist you, even though it may be after some time."

    [Ahmad and Tirmidhi]

  • Helping others in this Ramadan is very good deed, too.
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) narrates that
"The Messenger of Allah(saw) was the most generous person, and he used to be most generous in Ramadan…"
    [Bukhari]
Imam Ash-Shaafi'e (May Allah have mercy upon him), once said,
`It is beloved to me to see one increasing his acts of generosity during the month of Ramadhan, following the example of Allah's Messenger, and for one's own good. There are many who become over-occupied with fasting and Prayers, forgetting the other benefits of the month of Ramadhan [i.e. forgetting about the benefits and rewards for being generous towards others].'
    [Lataa'if-ul Maaarif]

  • Let's increase more our ibadaah in the night of power – Laylatul Qadr.
On the authority of Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) who reports that "once when Ramadhan commenced, the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
"A month has verily dawned over you wherein lies a night (i.e. Laylatul Qadr) which is better than a thousand months. Whoever misses such a night has indeed been deprived of all that is good; and none is deprived of it, except he who is really unfortunate."
    [Ibn Majah]

Happy Ramadan.

May Allah accept all our ibadah in this Ramadan. Ameen.
